We went to our recent converts birthday party yesterday and carter and I bought him a sweet remote control helicopter. He only got 2 presents the one from us, and the one from his grandparents. I was so happy we could make his birthday a little bit better for him. he is 9 and is mom is in rehab and his grandparents just got custody of him and his two yr old brother. so he has had it rough

So this past week has definitely been an Interesting one! I ran a 5K on Pday with another missionary. He got 2nd and I got 3rd because we had to stay within sight and sound. I ran a 19.03 I was booking it! We found a new family of Investigators that we are super excited for. There are 2 boys ages 12 and 10 and a single dad. They know quite a few members of the Church and are coming to church next week. Kara Cluff will be getting baptized on June 15th and there is a possibility that will be my last baptism. It is the last one we have set up. Hopefully we can get one last one for the month of July! The members here are awesome. my shoes have been worn way out, and they bought me a new pair yesterday. I love them! Thats about it from KY! Love, Elder Dye

This week was pretty slow. We had alot of thunderstorms so it kinda made working difficult. Everyone out here gets really scared of storms and they tell us all to go home. It was super exciting to see those pics of Edgar. It kinda makes me feel old seeing all of those guys as graduated and juniors and seniors. I have been doing good. I am trying to catch up to Edgar on the bench before I get home. I got up 282 last night. Debbie and Danny were confirmed on Sunday and that only leaves three more people with bap dates. Our teaching pool is slowly "drowning" :) We will be hitting the streets this next week and getting some more things rolling. It is kinda weird to think that I probably wont see to many of these people baptized. Thats about it from Ky! Love, Elder Dye

Hi! How are you? We have just been doing a whole bunch of missionary work. We are having a family baptism this weekend. I am so stoked! They are awesome! It's the Silette family. They are probably my favorite investigators on my mission. Debbie is the sweetest lady ever. The ward is so excited for them. They are kingdom builders!

YO YO YO! We had a very fun week. Elder Carter had a crazy Idea this week to lead the mission. So he my slave driver from 11 am to 9:30 p.m. We were teaching every hour of the day. We definitely did pretty good this week. We are teaching 5 Part Member families who are all going to be baptized this upcoming month! Thanks for all of your prayers! Kaden Baxter was confirmed this Sunday and Charlie will be baptized after church this upcoming Sunday. We have been having family prayer with them and helping them make that a regular thing. The Day's are doing fantastic. The Silletta Family is the best family I have ever worked with on my mission. They paid their tithing on Sunday and Debbie is going to be called into the primary presidency. Their baptism is planned for May 4th and Danny and Debbie are both excited for that. She is quitting smoking today, and a less active member is quitting with her. Sister Cluff is another part member that we are working with. I had a conversation with her on Wednesday night at the church and I didn't ask to meet or push anything at all. I walked away and a few min. later a member waved me down and told me that Sis. Cluff was offended because I didn't ask her to take the lessons. So I asked her and she said yes. So we extended a date for May 10th and she is working toward that. She has been to church every Sunday since I have been here. She bet me that I couldn't get in her house... I was sitting onher couch when she got home from work. Her husband let us in and she freaked out. Then she told me that she would only take the lessons If I baked her some cinnamon rolls. So we went over to a members and it took me 4 hours to make cinnamon rolls, but I did it all by myself! You would be proud of me momma! Elder Carter has been handling things like a champ I am pretty proud of him. That's about it for Nicholasville. Love, Elder Dye

Hey Erryone, This past week was a brutal one. Charlies date got pushed back to the 21st because of stupid details that have really become a pain in my tush, but everything with them is great! Elder Carter and I are doing fantastic. We found another lady this week who is married to an inactive whose fire started burning again. We had a wonderful lesson and she will be getting baptized on the 28th of April. That will be 3 baptisms in the month of April. That doesn't happen to often down here in the Bible belt. The work is being hastened. I have hastened my work as well. I set a goal about 2 months ago to finish my mission with 40 converts. So the Lord needs to pump 7 more out of Elder Dye. 7 more in 15 weeks :/ Keep that in your prayers please. My other goal is to kick dads trash when I get home. Pray for that one too ;) I am getting pretty nervous to be done with my mission. I have got pretty brave on my mission, but I am little scured of "real life" That about does it for me. Whats up Family, We had an awesome first week. Elder Carter had his first baptism yesterday! Kaden Baxter got dunked and is now a mormon. His pops is next in line. We did WORK this past week. Elder Carter is so chill he and I get along perfectly. Things in the ward are going great as well. We have alot of member trust and the members take real good care of us. We got three different Easter baskets from families in the ward. The ward found out how long I have left and they all try and make me trunky it's pretty funny. I found out this past week that we have to figure out how to split our area because we are getting a set of sisters. I didn't tell you about all the new sisters. Now that the age is lowered we actually have hot sisters. When I was at transfer meeting it blew my old idea of sister missionaries out of the water! Elder Carter and I tried to go opossum hunting we spread out dog food all over our backyard, but nothing ever came. I bore my testimony in church on Sunday only because I needed a tissue it was pretty funny. thats about it from KY!
